BIO
Luisa F. Calderon obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Loyola University, New Orleans College of Law and was licensed to practice law in Texas in 2010. While in law school, Luisa was a member and coach of the Trial Advocacy program. During her last year of law school, Luisa worked at the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s office as a student attorney, where she successfully tried several cases to verdict.

After many years as a trial litigator, Luisa’s entrepreneurial spirit and desire to assist in growing others’ small businesses turned her focus to commercial and corporate work. This desire to assist is borne out of her own parent’s hard work in establishing a successful dental practice, where they have lived in The Woodlands for over 30 years. In addition, her sister and uncle created and further developed their own small businesses in The Woodlands. Having these influential people in her life has given Luisa the drive to begin her own practice in order to assist small to mid-size companies with their specific business needs. Currently, her areas of concentration include corporate formation, contracts, negotiations, personal injury, premises liability, commercial liability, employment law, maritime, and first and third party insurance defense.

Born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, Luisa is fluent in Spanish, which serves as a great tool for Texas’ ever-changing cultural make-up. Luisa’s love for adventure led her to study abroad in Paris while at SMU and in Brazil while at Loyola. In her free time, Luisa enjoys learning new languages and participating in a variety of outdoor activities, including running half-marathons.
